## Overview

Chi Protocol is a permissionless platform that issues USC - a scalable stablecoin backed by LSTs and LRTs. Our mission is to create a trustworthy asset while sharing the protocol's generated rewards and revenues with all users.

## Decentralised, Capital-efficient and Sustainable Stablecoin

Chi Protocol offers a decentralised, capital-efficient, and sustainable stablecoin that enables users to mint USC without compromising capital efficiency while earning sustainable rewards through the protocol's core mechanisms.

## Our Mission

Chi Protocol's mission is to make DeFi and the use of decentralised stablecoins accessible to everyone. At Chi, we believe that the stablecoin trilemma is the primary barrier to mass adoption. Chi Protocol stands out as the only decentralised issuer capable of matching, and potentially exceeding, the scale of centralised stablecoins like USDT and USDC by offering a straightforward, efficient, and rewarding solution to this trilemma.\
\
USC, stUSC, and wstUSC provide stability, decentralisation, instant liquidity, and the capacity to manage large volumes, catering to the needs of multiple groups of users:

Our long-term goal is to broaden the use cases of USC, stUSC, and wstUSC, establishing them as widely adopted stablecoins and yield-bearing assets across both CeFi and DeFi venues.
